Norway in December 2025 and this 10-day itinerary showcases the three main cities that we visited - Oslo, Bergen, and Tromsø

We had heard stories of the spectacular natural beauty of Utah but being able to see it with our own eyes, left us wanting more. We visited Utah in December 2024 and we can't recommend this beautiful State enough for families who are visiting America. Our visit was part of a larger 5-week road trip across a number of States, so our itinerary had us driving into Utah from Idaho. Florida is a perfect blend of excitement, relaxation, and sunshine. In December 2022, we flew from Australia to Tampa Florida and spent a month road tripping around Florida. With two kids in tow (aged 5 and 17), we set out to experience the best the Sunshine State had to offer. We explored world-famous theme parks and Kennedy Space Centre in Orlando, drove the Florida Keys and discovered the natural beauty of the Everglades.

Slovenia is located in Central Europe and is probably one of Europe's most under-rated destinations. However, it is quickly becoming more popular and for good reason! This beautiful country is packed with jaw-dropping mountains, green pastures and offers great hiking and outdoor activities but is also safe, clean, affordable and easy to get around. It is often said that Slovenia is just like Switzerland but without the price tag.

If there’s a European country that flies under the radar but over-delivers on every level, it’s Slovakia. Slovakia isn't the first European destination most people think of and honestly it hasn't been top of our list over the last 20 years of travelling but we finally made it to Slovakia in May 2025 and were pleasantly surprised! This our itinerary of where we visited, stayed and our highlights.

Budapest has to be hands down one of our all-time favourite destinations and is the most magical and beautiful city we have visited! We visited Budapest in 2017 and again in 2025, so this itinerary is a combination of both of our visits to create the ideal itinerary for 4 days. We visited as a family with young children so the itinerary is more tailored for families than young couples who may want to party or visits bars.
